Are Long-form Note-taking Tools Better than Outliners?
Do you think in heirarchial or flowing streams of thought? Which one is better? This has often been debated in the Tools for Thought world. But there is no reason to debate, both methods are winners!
The biggest advantage of the outline for me is that it is very convenient to move the content. You can freely move a large amount of content or a single line of detailed content to any place, by using the dual-window drag node, the internal tool of the mobile node and the double-chain tool to move. And long text notebooks can often only be moved with inefficient and crude copy-paste functionality
